Koko Boost is a unique boost pedal that incorporates both a clean transparent boost and a selectable midrange boost. Koko will expand the range of your tube amplifier and Overdrive / Distortion pedals.

Koko Boost is the result of countless hours of listening, testing, and modifying our original circuit to create a pedal with a smaller footprint, while simultaneously expanding its functionality and versatility. Thanks to our proprietary Multi-Function Technology, mf(x), switching between Koko’s two boosts has never been easier.

Suhr Koko Boost Pedal Features:

  • Conveniently offers clean and midrange boosts in one dual-channel device
  • Up to +20dB of clean gain pushes your amp's front end for powerful presence and natural overdrive
  • Switchable m(fx) technology — hold the footswitch to swap between a standard transparent boost and an adjustable midrange boost
  • Selectable true bypass or buffered bypass
  • FX Link connectivity (3.5mm) supports external switchers and more
  • Powered by 1 x 9V battery or a suitable 9V DC center negative power supply

DUAL CHANNEL BOOST

The Boost control adjusts the overall output of the boost circuit (green mode only). The Mid Boost control adjusts the overall output of the boost circuit (red mode only). The Boost control varies from 0dB (unity gain) to +20dB of gain. Turning this control to higher settings will efficiently push the front-end of your amplifier and create a broad range of natural overdriven tones.

The Mid Gain control adjusts the output of the selected Mid frequency (via the Freq switch) that is added to the clean boosted signal.

FREQUENCY SWITCH

The three position frequency switch is active in the pedal’s Red mode and allows you to choose between three midrange voicings:
Left (Mids): Full and Smooth, tuned specifically to bring out your guitars natural midrange characteristics.
Middle (High Mids): Clear and articulate, voiced to cut through a mix for solo playing.
Right (Low Mids): Fat and Creamy, excellent for thickening up rhythm and lead tones.

MF(X) TECHNOLOGY

Switch between the Green and Red modes in mid performance by pressing and holding the footswitch.

ADVANCED FEATURES

Selectable Bypass Mode: Via an internal switch, you can choose to have the Koko Boost operate in true bypass, or buffered bypass modes.

FX Link: The FX Link connector allows the pedal’s switching function to be controlled from an external switch, pedal board, loop switcher, or any other custom interface. FX Link also provides the ability to power up in the On/Off state.

Low Battery Monitor: Koko Boost incorporates a unique battery monitor that alerts the user to low battery conditions. In addition, the battery monitor will automatically switch the pedal to True Bypass if the battery voltage is too low for the circuitry to correctly operate.

Update: these are great! I only charged them the day they arrived 3 months ago from Amazon, and have not had to charge them yet. The performance is good, the salt and pepper output seems not too much and not too little. Charging these grinders was extremely easy, and the little charging unit stand is provided with a C charger which you can connect into the back of the charging unit, and a USB connection on the other end for the wall .

Even As it stands, I would purchase these again. I have several bad experiences buying manual grinders that last about a month and break. These are High Quality, but need to upgrade the contacts.
